WordPre37 server was invasion of VIP customer source code disclosure

Sina tech news on April 14 in Beijing morning news, WordPress Wednesday revealed that hackers invaded part of the WordPress.com servers, resulting in leakage of its VIP customers source code. WordPress.com warned all VIP customers modify all password and API key.

WordPress said in a statement published in the official website, “ we had a detailed assessment of the recorded documents about the invasion, to confirm the extent of the leakage of information. We estimate we have leaked and copied to the source code. Although most of the WordPress code is open source, but we and the partners also have a number of sensitive code. In addition, the information disclosed is limited. &Amp;rdquo;

This may leak in many sites in the source code, may include API keys and sensitive information such as Twitter, Facebook password.

WordPress.com currently serves 18 million blogs and websites, including TED, such as CBS and TechCrunch blog, its 10% service websites global websites. (Zhang He)
